Turkey Cruise Ports 2027: Istanbul, Kuşadası and Bodrum

Turkey cruise ports 2027: where ships dock in Istanbul (Galataport), Kuşadası (Ege Port) and Bodrum, how to find your ship's dates, and how to spend your day ashore with a private guide.

On a Mediterranean cruise, your ship may call at Istanbul, Kuşadası or Bodrum, the three busiest cruise ports in Turkey. In 2025, Kuşadası welcomed about 996,000 cruise passengers, the Istanbul ports about 626,000 and Bodrum about 138,000, and ships also called at the port of Alsancak in İzmir. This guide to the Turkey cruise ports for 2027 shows where your ship docks and what each port is like. It also explains how to spend your day ashore with your own guide. Thinking about a week on a wooden boat instead? Read gulet or cruise ship.

Your Dates in the Turkey Cruise Ports for 2027

The ports do not publish one shared calendar of ship calls for 2027, and itineraries can still change. So the safest source for your dates is your cruise line. Your booking shows the day, the arrival time and the all-aboard time in each port. Once you have them, send them to us, and we plan your day around them.

Istanbul Cruise Port: Galataport

In Istanbul, ships dock at Galataport, the cruise port on the Bosphorus at Karaköy, in the Beyoğlu district. The old Karaköy Passenger Terminal opened here on July 1, 1940. Today, the port area is a quarter of shops, restaurants and museums by the sea. From here, the old city with Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque lies just across the Golden Horn. Our Istanbul shore excursion starts at the port.

Sailing with one of the big lines? Our Istanbul guides by cruise line cover the port day for each ship:

Kuşadası: Ege Port for Ephesus

On the Aegean coast, ships dock at Ege Port in Kuşadası, the port for Ephesus. Its two finger piers can take up to four large ships at once, and ships call here even in winter. From the port, our Ephesus shore excursion takes you to the ancient city. Then you see the Terrace Houses and the House of the Virgin Mary.

Bodrum: Bodrum Cruise Port

In Bodrum, the cruise port’s finger pier can berth two large ships at a time, about 1.5 kilometers from the town center. From here, our Bodrum shore excursion takes you to the Castle of Saint Peter. After that, you see the site of the Mausoleum and the windmills above the bays. For the whole day, read our Bodrum cruise stop guide.
