The essence
A private Istanbul football match tour puts you among Turkish supporters on match day. A professional licensed guide is at your side. It is about the atmosphere: the build-up with home fans, the chants, and the stadium itself. Your guide also helps with the parts that trip visitors up. These are the match card, getting to the stadium, and finding your seats. The ticket comes through our connections. We take you to any football (soccer) match in Turkey. Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor are the clubs our guests ask for most. First, we pick you up wherever you choose, hours before kick-off. Then we stop for köfte-ekmek on the way in and watch the match with you. Afterward, you spend time with local fans before we take you back.

In depth
In Istanbul, football is not a game you watch. It is something you live, loudly, for ninety minutes and for the hours around them. After all, three great clubs share the city, each with its own neighborhood, its own colors and its own songs, and on match day whole districts turn yellow and red, yellow and navy, or black and white. Our Istanbul football match tour puts you in the middle of it, with a licensed guide who knows the chants, the streets and the rules of the stadium.
For upcoming games, see our Istanbul match calendar.
The Next Champions League Nights in Istanbul
The next Champions League games in Istanbul come in late November and in January. On Tuesday 24 November, Galatasaray host Aston Villa at RAMS Park: see our Galatasaray vs Aston Villa match guide. On Tuesday 19 January 2027, Galatasaray host Feyenoord at RAMS Park: see our Galatasaray vs Feyenoord match guide. On Wednesday 20 January 2027, Fenerbahçe host Villarreal at Chobani Stadium in Kadıköy: see our Fenerbahçe vs Villarreal match guide.
We are planning a guided match day for each of these games. We take care of your Passo card and your ticket; all you do is write to us, and we will plan the day around the kick-off.
What an Istanbul Football Match Tour Feels Like
Hours before kick-off, the streets around the stadium fill with fans. Vendors grill köfte, sell scarves and sunflower seeds, and drummers warm up. Then, inside, the stands sing almost without pause. On March 18, 2011, at their new stadium, today RAMS Park, Galatasaray supporters even set a world record for the loudest crowd roar at a sports stadium. Later in the season, Galatasaray vs Feyenoord comes there on 19 January 2027. Bring your voice, and your guide teaches you a few words of the songs.
The three Istanbul giants are also old and proud. Beşiktaş was founded in 1903, Galatasaray in 1905 by students of Galatasaray High School, and Fenerbahçe in 1907 in Kadıköy. When Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe meet, the match is called the Intercontinental Derby, because one club plays in Europe and the other in Asia.
Your Match Card and Ticket
Turkish stadiums use the Passo card system, and we take care of it for you. Your ticket comes through our connections, so all you do is write to us. On match day, just bring the passport or ID card your Passo card was opened with.

Choose Your Club for the Istanbul Football Match Tour
We arrange any match, anywhere in Turkey. The four clubs below are the ones our guests ask for most, and other clubs are welcome too.
Galatasaray: RAMS Park
Galatasaray plays at RAMS Park, officially Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi RAMS Park, in Sarıyer. It opened in January 2011 and has about 52,000 seats. It has its own metro gate. By public transport, take the M2 line to Sanayi Mahallesi, then change platforms there for the Seyrantepe line. On the tour, we drive you there. In the league, Samsunspor visit on 21 November: see Galatasaray vs Samsunspor.
Fenerbahçe: Chobani Stadium
Fenerbahçe plays at Chobani Stadium in Kadıköy. Its full name is Chobani Stadyumu FB Şükrü Saracoğlu Spor Kompleksi. The sponsor’s name dates from a deal the club filed in July 2025 for 5+5 seasons from 2025–26. In Europe, Fenerbahçe hosts Villarreal here on 20 January 2027. In the league, Fenerbahçe vs Erzurumspor comes first, on 29 November.
Beşiktaş: Beşiktaş Park
Beşiktaş plays at Beşiktaş Park, on Dolmabahçe Caddesi in Beşiktaş. The club museum is inside the stadium, and you enter it through the historic 19 Mayıs gate. Its two floors (1,650 m², about 17,800 square feet) trace the club from 1902 to today, across all its sports. A museum visit fits another day of your trip, not match day. At home, Beşiktaş plays Gençlerbirliği on 8 November and Union Saint-Gilloise on 21 January 2027.
Trabzonspor: Papara Park
Trabzonspor is based in Trabzon. It plays at Şenol Güneş Stadium, the stadium of the Şenol Güneş Sports Complex in Akyazı. Its sponsor name is Papara Park.
Before and After the Whistle on an Istanbul Football Match Tour
Every club has its own match day ritual. Beşiktaş fans gather in the Çarşı, the market streets of Beşiktaş. For the derby with Galatasaray, see Beşiktaş vs Galatasaray. Fenerbahçe fans, by contrast, meet in the bars and cafés of Kadıköy before walking to the stadium. Galatasaray fans arrive at RAMS Park by metro, singing on the platforms. On our Istanbul football match tour, we join the home crowd where they really meet.
From our guides
- ColorsWear the home team’s colors, or neutral clothes, in the home stands.
- Sunflower seedsFans crack çekirdek, salted sunflower seeds, all through the match. Try a bag.
- The seasonThe Turkish league runs from August to May, with matches on weekends and some weekday evenings.
- DerbiesTickets for the big Istanbul derbies are tied to each fan’s own name, so we start early. Tell us early if you want one.
Our suggestion Learn one chant before the match. When a stadium of fifty thousand people sings it back at you, it is a moment you will never forget.
For the clubs, the derbies and the history of the game, read our guide to football in Turkey.
Close by, we also run our Istanbul cat tour and our Beyoğlu tour. For a game night indoors, see our Istanbul basketball game tour.
Real Football Nights With Our Guests
Ifeanyi M. came to Istanbul with a group of friends in August 2026, and one day of the trip belonged to Galatasaray. In the story of their match day, the build-up was the highlight: hours before kick-off, the streets around RAMS Park fill with fans in yellow and red. For Ifeanyi, the whole day was top notch, from the first car door to the last.
More words from our guests are on our guest reviews page. Pick your club, and we plan your own match night from pick-up to drop-off.
