Our photography tours in Turkey follow light and timing rather than a list of sights. In Istanbul, the Istanbul night photography tour works the blue hour and the bridges. Because every trip is private, we set the day by the sun instead of by a group’s schedule.

Mount Nemrut at sunset

The Mount Nemrut sunset tour saves the main subject for last: the stone heads of the gods on Mount Nemrut at sunset. Before that, the road stops at the Karakuş tumulus, the Roman Cendere Bridge and Arsameia.

Cappadocia’s valleys at dawn

In Cappadocia the order flips. Balloon flights leave from around Göreme early in the morning, so the valleys come first. Our suggestion for photography tours

For landscapes, pair Nemrut’s sunset with Cappadocia, and take the three-day trip, since two nights give you more than one dawn. For street pictures, put both Istanbul walks on one trip. To see the coast from above, Ölüdeniz paragliding flies with a licensed tandem pilot from Babadağ over the Blue Lagoon.
