The 5 Best Cafés in Antalya, From Kaleiçi to Karaalioğlu Park
The best cafés in Antalya, our five picks: The Sudd and Varuna Gezgin in Kaleiçi, Kans' Coffee on Konyaaltı Caddesi, Çay-Tea's for breakfast and a tea garden in Karaalioğlu Park.
In the morning, the first cups go out at The Sudd Coffee on Hamam (a Turkish bath) Sokak, and the best cafés in Antalya begin their day in the lanes of Kaleiçi, the old town. At sunset, the tea garden in Karaalioğlu Park, just outside the walls, takes over. Our five picks run between those two moments, from home-roasted beans to a long breakfast, and we chose each for the kind of break it suits. When you move on west, read Antalya to Ephesus. Between coffees, an Antalya city tour takes you from a Roman gate to a waterfall that drops into the sea.
How We Chose the Best Cafés in Antalya
We looked for cafés that take their coffee seriously, and for a few places that are simply good for a slow hour. Four of them stand in or next to the old town. For the old town itself, start with our page on Kaleiçi.
The Best Cafés in Antalya for Coffee
1. The Sudd Coffee, Kaleiçi
The Sudd Coffee began in Antalya in 2017, and its Kaleiçi branch stands on Hamam Sokak. Since 2022, it has roasted its own specialty beans in its own center, with recipes based on Specialty Coffee Association training. Make it your first coffee of the day, then walk through the old town to Hadrian’s Gate, built in AD 130 in the emperor’s name.

2. Kans’ Coffee
Kans’ Coffee stands on Konyaaltı Caddesi in the Bahçelievler quarter. Its coffee is roasted locally, and the menu runs from Turkish coffee to cold brew. For something of its own, try the K-Affagato, espresso poured over smoked Antalya ice cream. There is also a meeting room, and pets are welcome. It is a good stop for a longer morning.

3. Varuna Gezgin Cafe, Kaleiçi
Varuna Gezgin is a café with a travel theme, and its Kaleiçi branch stands on Hamam Sokak. Gezgin means traveler, and its own site is full of travel notes from Africa, Asia and South America. It has branches in Istanbul, İzmir, Ankara and Eskişehir too. Stay on for a long evening in the old town.

The Best Cafés in Antalya for Breakfast and Tea
4. Çay-Tea’s Boutique Café
Çay-Tea’s is a boutique café in the Selçuk quarter of the old town. It serves breakfast, coffee and tea, café gourmand plates and natural drinks. Come for a slow breakfast in Kaleiçi.
5. Karaalioğlu Aile Çay Bahçesi
This tea garden stands in Karaalioğlu Park, just outside the old town. It stays open into the evening, so come for a glass of tea at sunset. At the corner of the park stands the Hıdırlık Tower, a Roman tomb of the early 2nd century, about 14 meters (46 feet) high, which later kept watch over the sea.
