Overview
Turkey changes with the light, from the domes of Istanbul at dawn to the coast at sunset. Our Turkey photography tour plans ten days around the best hours, with guides who know where to stand.
Istanbul on the Turkey Photography Tour
We begin in Istanbul with our sunrise photo walk, from the Galata Tower in the blue hour to the Süleymaniye above the Golden Horn. On the third day, you photograph the colored houses of Balat and Fener, then the Bosphorus in the late afternoon.

Our suggestion For the first morning, bring a small tripod for the blue hour by the Galata Tower.
Cappadocia
Next, you fly to Cappadocia for our Cappadocia photography tour. At dawn, you photograph the balloons from a ridge near Göreme, if the wind lets them fly. In the afternoon, you go out to Paşabağ and Love Valley, and you end at Uçhisar Castle for the golden hour.
Pamukkale and the Coast on the Turkey Photography Tour
Then you fly to Denizli for Pamukkale in the late afternoon, when the white terraces take on the color of the sky. You drive to the coast for Kayaköy, an empty stone village on a hillside, and Ölüdeniz.
Kaş and Kekova
Finally, you drive along the coast to Kaş and take a boat over the sunken ruins of Kekova, paid on the spot. We plan each day around the light, so the timings move with the season.

Do I need a professional camera for the Turkey photography tour?
No. Phones work well, and your guides know the angles.
Can we fly a drone on the Turkey photography tour?
Yes, on request. Tell us when you book, and we arrange the drone shots and check the rules for each place on your route.
Do the balloons always fly?
No. Flights depend on the wind. If they do not fly, we photograph the valleys in the dawn light instead.
Can we add a balloon flight of our own?
Yes, on another morning. See our balloon flights.
Can we change the route?
Yes. Every journey is private, so we can add days or swap a region.
What is your cancellation policy?
Every trip with us is private, so we agree the cancellation terms with you by email before you book, and you find them in writing in your booking confirmation. The deposit is non-refundable.
