A’jia Hotel

A boutique hotel in the Ahmet Rasim Paşa Yalısı, a white waterfront mansion on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus at Kanlıca.

Overview

A'jia Hotel is a small boutique hotel in a yalı (a waterfront mansion on the Bosphorus), one of the old waterfront mansions of the Bosphorus. It stands on the Asian shore at Kanlıca, and the building is known as the Ahmet Rasim Paşa Yalısı. Its white facade rises straight from the quay, so the water runs right past the windows. We book your room and plan your Istanbul days from here.

A Yalı on the Bosphorus

The Ahmet Rasim Paşa Yalısı

The yalı mansions of the Bosphorus stand right on the water, and A'jia Hotel keeps one of them in use. The white mansion faces the European shore across the strait. In 2009, Condé Nast Johansens named it one of the most charming hotels in Europe.

Staying at A'jia Hotel

Rooms over the water

The rooms look either over the Bosphorus or over the park behind the house. Some sit at quay level, some have a terrace, and the largest suite carries the name of the yalı.

Dinner on the quay

The hotel's restaurant serves Mediterranean and world cooking at tables by the water. On Sundays, it serves brunch, and we reserve your table for it.
