A three-room family guesthouse on Yeşilada, the little island of Eğirdir, run by three sisters a few steps from the lake.
Göl Pension is a small family guesthouse on Yeşilada, the little island of Lake Eğirdir that a causeway joins to the town of Eğirdir. It stands about 40 meters (130 feet) from the water and has only three rooms.
In fact, three sisters run the guesthouse together as a family business, and they welcome guests into a house with only three rooms.
Each of the three rooms is spacious, and every one looks out over the lake. The rooms also have air conditioning, a television, a small fridge and a kettle.

Finally, breakfast is homemade: jams made in the house, natural yogurt, fresh vegetables and fruit. The garden and the breakfast area face the lake, while the shore is only a few steps away for a morning walk or the sunset.
Lake Eğirdir lies 916 meters (about 3,000 feet) above sea level and runs some 50 kilometers (31 miles) from north to south. Yeşilada and the smaller Can Ada sit at the tip of the Eğirdir peninsula, like two extensions of the land out into the water. Its waters hold fish such as sudak, the pike-perch, and çapak.
Eğirdir is also one of the main stops on the St. Paul Trail, the waymarked footpath of about 500 kilometers (310 miles) from Perge near Antalya to Yalvaç, northeast of the lake. Kate Clow opened the route in 2008, and walkers use the town as a base, so a night at Göl Pension fits well into a few days on the trail.
We suggest it for couples and friends who want a very small family house on the water, on an island of old stone houses, restaurants and family guesthouses.
Our Lake Eğirdir tour takes you around the town on its peninsula and out to the islands for a fish lunch. On another day, our Sagalassos tour climbs to the Roman city of Sagalassos high in the mountains. In the old town across the causeway, Charly's Pension is another family house.
We book your stay at Göl Pension.
