Gunays Garden

Five stone villas with a pool and the Izela restaurant above Kayaköy, run since 2004 by the Keskin family, who have lived in the village for generations.

Overview

Gunays Garden is a group of five stone villas in the gardens above Kayaköy, the empty stone town near Fethiye. Each villa has its own kitchen and sitting room, and the villas share a large pool and a restaurant, Izela.

The Story of Gunays Garden

The villas belong to the Keskin family, whose roots in Kayaköy go back more than 150 years. They opened Gunays Garden in 2004, and many of the team have worked here together ever since. The family runs it on its own, without tour operators. The villas look out over the stone houses of the old town, built in the late Ottoman period and emptied in the population exchange of the early Republic.

Staying at Gunays Garden

Two of the villas have three bedrooms and sleep six, and three have two bedrooms and sleep four. On the ground floor of each are the kitchen and the sitting room, and the bedrooms are mostly upstairs. Stays run by the week, from Saturday to Saturday, and a group can also book all five villas together, for a wedding or a family reunion.

Dinner at Gunays Garden

When you would rather not cook, the Izela restaurant serves food in its courtyard, by the pool or at your villa.

Who Gunays Garden Suits

We suggest it for families and groups of friends who want a stone villa with a kitchen and a pool, a short drive from Ölüdeniz and Fethiye.

Our suggestion

Our Fethiye and Kayaköy tour walks through the empty town of Kayaköy. On another day, take the boat to Gemiler Island.

We book your villa at Gunays Garden for your dates. For more places to stay in the area, read Where to Stay in Fethiye: Town, Ölüdeniz or Göcek.
