Thirty-eight sea-facing suites in eight villas on a garden hillside in Yalıkavak, looking west to the Greek islands.
Allium Bodrum Resort & Spa sits on a 13-acre garden hillside in Yalıkavak, on the Bodrum Peninsula. Its 38 suites are spread over eight villas, and every one faces the sea. Across the water lie the Greek islands, where the sun sets in the evening.
The hotel also holds One MICHELIN Key.
The gardens grow both local and exotic plants. They follow the example of Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı, the Fisherman of Halicarnassus, who brought seeds from around the world to Bodrum. In particular, at the center of the planting stands the allium flower, a sign of good fortune, and it gives the hotel its name.
A heated infinity pool looks out over the Aegean, and private cabanas sit along the hillside. Each suite faces the water, so the sunset is part of every evening. Pets up to 8 kilos (about 18 pounds) are welcome, though not in the restaurant areas.
Cliff Bodrum Restaurant & Bar serves Aegean dishes with a modern touch, made from fresh, organic ingredients, from breakfast to dinner. Beside the infinity pool, the Cliff Pool Bar pours drinks with light Mediterranean plates. At One Life Spa & Well-being, therapists give Turkish and Asian treatments, with Balinese therapists on the team. For a special evening, the staff can set a private dinner for two in one of the cabanas above the sea.

We suggest it for couples who want a small resort with sea views. It also suits travelers who come with a small dog.
The hotel is in Yalıkavak, home of the Yalıkavak Marina. Our Bodrum peninsula tour stops at the marina and then goes on to Gümüşlük and Ancient Myndos, the fishing village beside the ruins of ancient Myndos.
We book your stay at Allium Bodrum Resort & Spa. For other hotels on the peninsula, read our list of The 5 Best Hotels in Bodrum, Bay by Bay.
