Ariana Lodge, in full Ariana Sustainable Luxury Lodge, is a small cave hotel in the Tekelli quarter of Uçhisar. Its suites look out over Pigeon Valley, below the rock of Uçhisar Castle.

The Story of Ariana Lodge

Suites named after goddesses

The eleven suites each carry the name of a goddess from the ancient Near East, among them Ishtar, Arinnitti and Inara. They come in three kinds, so you choose between cave rooms cut into the rock, stone rooms and two-level duplex suites.

The hotel has also committed to the first stage of the Türkiye Sustainable Tourism Programme.

Staying at Ariana Lodge

In the Inara stone suite, the old stone walls are left as they were and paired with modern furniture. At 47 square meters (about 505 square feet), it opens onto a private deck facing Pigeon Valley. The Arinnitti suite, by contrast, has a bathroom finished in mosaic.

Eating at the lodge

The Plum Restaurant cooks contemporary Mediterranean dishes from fresh local produce. Before dinner, guests can take a glass of wine on the sun terraces beside the lodge's own vineyard.
