Village rooms in the heart of Şirince and mountain houses with a pool above it, run by the Gülgün family since 1999.
Kırkınca Evleri is a family-run hotel in Şirince, the hill village above Selçuk. It has two parts: rooms in the old village houses, in the heart of Şirince, and the Dağ Evleri, a group of mountain houses with a garden and a pool among the hills outside the village.
The name is the village's own old name. Şirince was called Kırkınca until the early years of the Republic, and until the population exchange of 1923 it was a Greek town. The Gülgün family's story here goes back to those exchange years, when its roots moved from Thessaloniki to Kırkınca.

In 1999 the family began to take guests, and over the years this grew into a family business. Today the Gülgün family still runs it.
In the village, there are ten rooms, each with its own name and character, from the Kemerli (arched) room to the Ceviz (walnut) and Mor Salkım (wisteria) rooms. Outside the village, six mountain houses of stone and wood share a garden and a pool among the green slopes. There is also a hall with stone walls for yoga and small meetings.
The restaurant serves a village breakfast at a table that looks out over the view. Around it, Şirince still lives from its vineyards, its wine and its olives.
We suggest it for couples and families who want a family-run stay in Şirince. Choose the village rooms to step straight into its lanes, or the mountain houses for a pool among the green hills.
Our Ephesus and Şirince tour pairs Ephesus with Şirince, the village around the hotel.
